Postpartum mental health issues are global. Early detection is still too rare.

Téra is a maternal wellness monitoring platform deployed through midwife and health care provider networks. It generates passive behavioural signals from a daily weaving practice, mapped to validated screening frameworks, and surfaces them to care providers through a lightweight dashboard that fits existing workflows.

A large problem with a tractable solution.

    1 in 5

Mothers affected by postpartum depression globally.

    80%

Cases that go undetected in time to intervene.

    Weeks 2 to 6

The intervention window. Rarely reached by standard care scheduling.

Postpartum mental health concerns affect mothers across every income level and geography. In low and middle income countries, detection infrastructure is either absent or critically underdeveloped. The consequences are measurable: impaired mother and infant bonding, reduced breastfeeding, long term developmental impact on the child, and worsening maternal mental health outcomes.

Most existing tools require the mother to self report in a clinical setting using language that activates stigma. Téra removes that requirement entirely by making observation passive and the experience genuinely enjoyable.

    One platform. Scalable across cohorts.

    01

    Prescription

A health care provider prescribes Téra during a prenatal visit. The mother receives it as part of her standard postnatal care package at no additional cost to her.

    02

    Passive observation

The mother weaves daily. Téra observes her behavioural patterns against her own prenatal baseline, not population averages.

    03

    Clinical visibility

The health care provider receives a weekly summary showing which mothers need a conversation this week. The cost of adding a mother to the programme is marginal.

    Deployment and adaptation.

Téra is designed for deployment with clinical programmes that already reach postpartum mothers. The platform adapts to local languages, cultures and workflows.

The need is global wherever postpartum mental wellness detection infrastructure is absent or underdeveloped. Téra helps care teams prioritise follow-up without adding burden for mothers.
